No.4 Hamilton Place, in conjunction with Food by Dish, was the focus for London’s wedding scene, just before Valentines Day, at a one-off wedding showcase at our historic central London venue. It also saw the launch of our new Wedding Brochure.

Argyll Ceremony

Argyll Ceremony

The fabulous day of all things nuptial was centred round our newly decorated Argyll Room in the heart of our Edwardian town house. Guests included couples searching for the perfect wedding venue and suppliers and industry press wanting a sneaky peek at our fabulous refurb. As well as being able to explore the delights of No.4 Hamilton Place’s indoor reception, ceremony and party spaces, visitors were also treated to a tour of our elegant terrace – complete with views over Hyde Park.

Exhibiting at the showcase were top suppliers including the Pretty Gorgeous Cake Co., Pinstripes and Peonies the florists and stylists from Pamela and Andrea Makeup. Brides were also able to view some of this season’s most coveted bridal fashion thanks to Emmy London and Ian Stuart Blewcoat. Representatives from the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel were also at the exhibition, showing off their fabulous accommodation options for any out of town wedding guests.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the second phase of our wedding extravaganza began with the arrival of members of the recently-launched National Association of Professional Wedding Planners (NAWP). Their networking reception drinks and nibbles was a fabulous opportunity for the association to introduce themselves to some of the industry’s top suppliers and to talk about their role as champions of best practice in wedding organisation and planning.
Florists from Elizabeth Marsh Floral Design took the opportunity to show off their talents and filled the stunning, ornate space with beautiful bridal blooms. Lucia Silver from The State of Grace showcased the latest wedding fashions and our in-house caterers, Food by Dish treated guests to a host of delicious canapés and bubbles.

We had over 150 guests throughout the day and evening and we were delighted with the feedback from our guests. Bringing together couples, planners and suppliers at our historic Mayfair venue was the perfect way to celebrate the Argyll Room’s beautiful restoration.
Emily Falconer, Marketing Manager at No. 4 Hamilton Place said: ‘We had a great turnout and are delighted to have been able to show off our beautiful wedding facilities. It was fantastic to see and meet so many planners and offer some of our key suppliers the opportunity to network with their peers and potential new clients.’
