We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and driven individual to take on the role of Marketing and Event Coordinator.

The successful candidate would join a small and friendly team for a fixed term basis initially for a period of six months, with the possibility of extension, starting mid-August 2016. Usual working days will be Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, attendance at evening and weekend events is an integral part of the role; time off in lieu will be given for weekend work.

The Venue Team consists of an Event Sales and Coordination Manager, Event Manager, Event Coordinator, Receptionist and two Venue Services Assistants.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated Marketing and Events Coordinator with at least 3 years’ experience who will assist the team in promoting the venue as the ideal location for different events throughout the year. The post holder will represent the venue at exhibitions and deliver marketing initiatives; online, offline and social media.

The role will include responding and dealing with enquiries, giving clients tours of the venue, account managing key clients and events and all event administration including events sheets and invoicing. The post holder will be expected to deliver and maintain excellent customer service and operational services for all events at the venue.
