At No.4 Hamilton Place, guests can enjoy a whole host of event types. From banquets to weddings, AGMs to product launches and conferences, the versatility of our stunning Mayfair building means that we are always involved in an exciting array of functions.

With such a diverse range of uses the venue can accommodate, this also means our food offerings need to boast the same level of variety. In our indoor spaces, three course dinners provide the perfect fit for a formal occasion, while our beautiful terrace offers the ideal setting for a South American BBQ with views over the majestic Hyde Park.

For many of the private events and parties we hold here at No.4, however, canapes and bowl food often provide the ideal solution. With our award-winning catering partners, FoodbyDish, we are able to offer some truly inspiring canape and bowl food options that suit you, your guests, and any requirements or theming of your event.

There are so many benefits to choosing canapes and bowl food for a party, some of which you may not have considered before:

  • It’s social – Smaller dishes served on a continual basis allow guests to mingle without being called to be seated for dinner or to visit a food station or buffet.

Considering how canapes and bowl food will fit your guests is crucial to the success of your event. We are able to produce some extremely delicate and elegant creations, while some groups may prefer more substantial, filling options. Or you can always include both, of course!

Our kitchen staff have created some exciting canapes and bowl food recipes ideal for both summer and winter parties. Please feel free to take some inspiration from the items below which feature in our sample menu:

  • Soy and brown sugar cured beef, enoki mushroom marmalade
  • Hay smoked venison, rocket, shaved parmesan and truffle oil
  • Smoked mackerel, horseradish, kohlrabi and cucumber caviar
  • Sliced beef fillet, triple cooked chip, béarnaise sauce
  • BBQ mushroom and pickled cucumber steamed bun
  • Roast beetroots, goat cheese, beetroot leaves and pickled walnuts
  • Beef chimichurri, crunchy slaw and sautéed new potatoes
  • Salmon and squid ink ravioli, rocket and seafood velouté
  • Pina colada cones, and Tiramisu macaroon (don’t forget dessert!)
