OUR FABULOUS CHRISTMAS SHOWCASE
This time last week, No.4 Hamilton Place were preparing to open its doors for a fun and festive extravaganza; the Christmas Showcase! We hosted a night of celebration to show organisers what they can expect when booking a Christmas party at our stunning, central London venue this year. Highlights from the evening included a troop of 1920’s dancers, a hog roast and lots of bubbles. If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry, let us take you through the party as it unfolded…
Guests were greeted by the fabulous Gatsby Girls who ushered people upstairs to the beautiful Argyll Room, where a glass of Prosecco waited. This space is one of our most coveted and displays some of the finest period details our historic venue has to offer.
The room was festively dressed with snowflakes projected on the ceilings and our very own blow-up Father Christmas and snowmen! Fairy lights and winter wonderland-themed decorations completed the look and to get everyone into the Christmas spirit the DJ was playing some great seasonal tunes.
Once all of our guests had arrived and had a chance to mingle while enjoying their welcome drinks, the Gatsby Girls performed for everyone. They took to dancefloor (set up as it would be for your Christmas party) and wowed the crowd with their amazing medley of 1920’s style choreography . It was then onto the Terrace for some food.
Our outside space
Our glass gazebo is the perfect addition to our recently refurbished terrace, as it doesn’t spoil the views over Hyde Park but keeps out the chill as the sun goes down. The fairy lights, Christmas decorations and festive novelties created a real sense of fun and seasonal good cheer amongst party goers. It also gave everyone a flavour of what a Christmas party at No.4 Hamilton Place would be like.
Cooking and dining alfresco
Our versatile and fantastic chefs took to the terrace to cook on open fire, treating guests to dishes from both our European and South American Christmas menus. The Suckling Pig; braised in apple and Somerset cider on a brioche roll was our British dedication to this winter barbeque, the Picanha rump beef with chimichurri sauce and the Prawn bobo with cassava sauce tickled our tropical taste buds.
We’re particularly excited about our two menu options for our brand new Christmas Terrace Package our Brazilian Head Chef, Paolo Ferreira, has tuned into his South American roots and bought the sun into these salivating dishes. Guests are also offered an array of side dishes and delicious salads including a Palm heart, tomato and artichoke one and a Black eyed bean and rice salad, with spring onion, pepper, chilli and coriander.
For dessert our kitchen’s Churros with caramel sauce proved to be a huge hit and the Passion fruit cheesecake was absolutely divine!
